Cu ocazia a 20 de ani de la înființarea Fundației ARTeast, programul DUET(T) propune reluarea unui proiect mai vechi, realizat sub același nume, în anul 2003. A constat, la vremea aceea, în schimbul de experiență între mai mulți curatori maghiari și români, ce au cercetat scenele de artă contemporană ale momentului, din România și Ungaria, în idea de a cunoaște artiștii „culturii celuilalt”, pentru ca în urma unei selecții finale, să propună o serie de expoziții ce au funcționat ca un dialog inter-etnic.
În formula reînnoită, proiectul Duet(t) (2019) propune un dialog inter-disciplinar, inter-generațional și inter-etnic în cadrul a cinci rezidențe artistice și de cercetare între dueturile:
Bartha Sándor (Ungaria) – Bartha József (România) – Expoziția de la Camera K’ARTE
Sugár János (Ungaria) – Monotremu (România)
Jaroslav Kiša (Slovacia) – Anetta Mona Chișa (România/Cehia)
Tehnica Schweiz (Ungaria/Germania) – Szilard Miklos (România)
Sándor Bartha (n. 1962) trăiește la Budapesta și este lector la Universitatea Partium – Arte Vizuale din Oradea. Practica sa artistică se raportează la situațiile intime, de familie, iar recuzita acestui univers este alăturată unor subiecte provenind din scena politică publică, privită de artist cu un ochi critic și ironic. Bartha József (n. 1960). Artist vizual, scenograf, curator, conferențiar universitar la Universitatea de Artă din Târgu Mureș. Inițiator și organizator al mai multor proiecte naționale și internaționale de artă contemporană. Este fondatorul Fundației ARTeast și B5 Studio din Tg. Mureș. Studii la Institutul de Arte Plastice din Cluj (1987) și la Universitatea de Artă din Budapesta (DLA, 2012). În 1996 a fost bursier ArtsLink în Statele Unite ale Americii, iar în 2005 a primit bursă de la Boswil Art Committee din Elveția. În 2014 a câstigat premiul UNITER pentru cea mai bună scenografie.Lucrările conceptuale a lui Bartha József include instalații, video si interventi artistice.

With the occasion of the 20th anniversary from the birth of the ARTeast Foundation, the DUET(T) event series is organized as an amended re-make of a project from 2003. The original Duett was a collaboration and exchange of experience between Hungarian and Romanian curators who, in researching the two contemporary art scenes, familiarized themselves with “the culture of the other”, and created a series of exhibitions – duets – which functioned as interethnic dialogues.
The 2019 Duet(t), within the framework of five artistic and research residencies, proposes interdisciplinary, intergenerational and interethnic dialogues between the following duets:

Sugár János (Hungary) – Monotremu (Romania)
Jaroslav Kiša (Slovakia) – Anetta Mona Chișa (Romania/Czech Republic)
Tehnica Schweiz (Hungary/Németország) – Miklós Szilárd (Romania)
Sándor Bartha (b. 1962) lives in Budapest and is a lecturer at the Visual Arts Department of the Partium University from Oradea/Nagyvárad (Romania). His artistic practice refers to private, family situations, and the background of this universe accompanies other topics coming from the public political sphere, seen with a critical and ironic eye by the artist (Art Encounters).

Bartha József (b. 1960) Visual artist, scenographer and curator, associate professor at the University of Arts Târgu-Mureș. He has initiated and organized several national and international contemporary art projects, and established the ARTeast Foundation and the B5 Studio in Târgu-Mureș. Graduate of the University of Fine Arts in Cluj, he has obtained a DLA degree from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2012. He completed a US ArtsLink residency programme in 1996 and received a grant for residency of the Switzerland Boswil Art Committee in 2005. In 2014 he was awarded the UNITER prize for best scenography. He has participated in several group exhibitions, both in the country and abroad. His conceptual works include installations, video art and interventions.

Az ARTeast Alapítvány létrehozásának 20.évfordulója alkalmával szervezett DUET(T) rendezvénysorozat egy 2003-as projekt megismétlése és felfrissítése. Az eredeti Duett magyar és román kurátorok tapasztalatcseréje volt, akik a romániai és magyarországi kortárs művészeti szcénákat kutatva megismerkedtek “a másik fél kultúrájával”, majd inter-etnikus párbeszédként működő kiállítások -duettek- sorozatát hozták létre.
A 2019-es Duet(t) öt művészeti és kutatási rezidensprogram keretén belül interdiszciplináris, intergenerációs és interetnikus párbeszédet valósít meg, a következő duetteken belül:

Sándor Bartha (sz. 1962) Budapesten él és a nagyváradi Partiumi Keresztény Egyetem művészeti karának adjunktusa. Művészeti tevékenysége bensőséges, családi helyzetekre utal, ennek a világnak az eszköztárához pedig politikai és közéleti témákat csatlakoztat, melyeket kritikus és ironikus nézőpontból közelít meg. Bartha József (sz. 1960) Vizuális művész, látványtervező és kurátor, a Marosvásárhelyi Művészeti Egyetem docense. Számos országos szintű és nemzetközi kortárs művészeti projektet kezdeményezett és szervezett, a marosvásárhelyi ARTeast Alapítvány és a B5 Stúdió alapítója. A kolozsvári Képzőművészeti Egyetemen végzett 1987-ben, 2012-ben a Magyar Képzőművészeti Egyetemen szerezett DLA címet. 1996-ban az Egyesült Államok ban vett részt ArtsLink residensprogramon, 2005-ben a Svájci Boswil Art Committee alkotóházi ösztöndíjában részesült. 2014-ben a legjobb díszlet kategóriában UNITER díjat kapott. Számos határon belüli és nemzetközi csoportos kiállításon vett részt. Konceptuális alkotásai közt szerepelnek installációk, videók és intervenciók.
